It has always been some sort of a wonder to me, that others are able to describe themselves so well and so easily.
As a person, I’m sort of a walking oxymoron.
I’m soft-hearted which is what makes me hard. I feel way too much which is why I am rational. I believe in being good but I’m kind of a rebel at heart. Following my heart, not my desires, is something I try to do, but it’s not always so easy to distinguish between the two. There’s a whole list, which you’ll find out in time if you follow this blog.
This is my Siamese white cat, with grey stripes prettifying her legs and tail, eyes as blue as blue can be, and her name is Kitty.
While my brother and I were still pondering through a list of names for the little kitten that came to us in 2001, Mum started calling her, “Kitty! Kitty!”
The name stuck.

I’m just a girl, a very normal girl, who’s treading the paths of my life, sometimes thrilled by the stumbles and falls that throw a different perspective in life, other times, irritated and constantly worried by the same obstacles that I cannot look past. Ironically, a liberating laugh-out-loud coupled with the rebellious streak in me help get me through some of the worst times and to enjoy the best.
And even though I have found the journey of my life to become a Catholic (baptised in 2004 at Church of the Holy Spirit where I continue to serve), it continues.
For how else should a quest really be if not for the joys of the adventures themselves?

So while I continue to travel in this Game of Life, the few companions I will always keep close to my side are perhaps, the constants in my life that make me, me – the people I cherish and love, reading and writing to contribute to stories that dress the world in more varied hues, and everything about the Sun, Sand and Sea.
You can call me Philothea, if you like. If you know what that means, you’ll know once and for all, who I am at heart.
